Red Card Clothing mentioned today on Inside Minnesota Soccer
Good stuff BQ! You can read a little bit about of the history of the website in the article.
I am completely sold out of Tampa Bay Rowdies t-shirts now. Until the lawsuit is over it’s probably going to be hard to get your hands on one. Read all about the lawsuit at http://www.insidemnsoccer.com/
Clint Deuce Dempsey T-Shirt
USA soccer fans let out a huge sigh of relief when they found out that Clint does not need surgery on his knee and should be back in the national team line-up in time for South Africa.
The first Deuce design is my favorite. It’s from Who Are Ya Designs. $17.99
Second design is from Objectivo. $24 printed on American Apparel.
Soccer is Football T-shirt
I found this shirt really pisses off the hard core fantasy football players I know. After what seemed to be months of smack talk about who’s better at picking their lineups, blah blah blah, I suggested we get a real football, take it outside, and settle it once and for all. Didn’t happen. That means I’m allowed to mock them now. BustedTees has this gem of a shirt. It’s simple, straight to the point, and kinda dumb. Perfect! Get it for $20. Available in both men’s and women’s.
Objectivo – California Soccer T-shirt
OMG, how cool is this? It helps that I’m from California but I really like this shirt.
I can vouch for Objectivo’s quality. I’ve been a fan of Objectivo for awhile now. A year ago I was sent two shirts to sample and I can say they’ve held up over multiple washings. They’re printed on American Apparel shirts (which I love) and are reasonably priced. You can see in the picture that they are tagless shirts with the Objectivo brand printed inside.
This t-shirt is available in grey or white. I like the white. $28
Bethlehem Steel Shirt – Bumpy Pitch
A few months ago I did a review on the Bethlehem Steel shirt by Bumpy Pitch. I’m bringing it over here with slight editing to include comments from beans at Bumpy Pitch and The Original Winger.

Shipping was fast. I think I had the actual shirt within 5 days of ordering it. First off, it’s a solid shirt, of American Apparel or Alternative Apparel quality (can’t tell, no tag) Very comfortable, wears nicely, washed great. I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite shirts.
My only concern I had about Bumpy Pitch is the past was their price. These shirts aren’t cheap! I only pulled the trigger because of their 30% off sale. They’re targeting the more affluent soccer fans, not the ones who carpool 20 hours to see the USA National Team play to save money (me). Here’s my thinking – when you buy a shirt, you’re helping support http://theoriginalwinger.com which is a fantastic soccer blog. Think of it as your premium for subscribing to public radio. It’s a great shirt and you get to enjoy the blog for the next year guilt free.
Thanks for the feedback on the shirt. We worked hard on getting them the way we wanted. In terms of the American Apparel or Alternative Apparel question…its neither. We cut and sew the shirts from scratch instead of using pre-made blanks. Part of that is taken into account via our pricing. Thanks for the support of both Bumpy Pitch and The Original Winger. We appreciate it!

I still love the shirt. Order yours at Bumpy Pitch.
Tampa Bay Rowdies Shirt
This is one of my favorite shirts. Originally I wanted one, order a couple dozen, and sold them through this website. Great shirts, printed on American Apparel 2001’s. Sold them mostly to Florida but people have bought them coast to coast.
A month after I started selling them, the Tampa Bay Rowdies reformed. You can see version 2.0 play in the second division. There’s a lawsuit over the logo (which caused me headaches) that’s still going on. It does explain why you can’t buy any merch from the official site. The people who claim to own the logo also sell shirt. Their site is http://section219.com/. They definitely don’t make it easy to order. Last I checked they sold them for $36 each. If you want one, it may be your best bet.

Minnesota Kicks Shirts
I am totally sold out of these shirts. If anybody knows a good place to legally buy more please contact me.
The only place I can point people to at this point is http://section219.com/
They own the copywrite for the Kicks logo and as far as I know they are the only place to get them. Good luck!
Haiti United Relief T-Shirt
This is pretty cool. 100% of the proceeds from this shirt will be donated to disaster relief. Plus it’s an affordable $17.99. I’m going to order one. Are you?

Calle Liquidation Sale from January 14-20th
Save 25-60% on Calle this weekend
Just noticed that Calle is having a sale this weekend. It just so happens that they are one of my favorite soccer brands. Proof is in the pudding, I just took a picture of my shoe – check out what I’m wearing. Even more convincing is they didn’t give them to me, I paid full price. You can get them for cheaper.
If you’re not familiar with Calle, now’s a great time to check them out: http://store.callerepublic.com/
Welcome to 2010
I can’t call it twenty-ten. That’s just weird to me. I think the Monolith agrees.
This is the 2010 version of Red Card Clothing. In the past I sold NASL vintage clothing for the Minnesota Kicks and the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Then the Rowdies came back and so did the NASL. I think that proved I was on to something. P.S., You’re welcome NASL.
At Pubcon 2009 I had a discussion with the Gaffer from http://www.epltalk.com/ about the future of the site. Over beer and Thai food the site was reborn in my head. So now you get reviews and opinions about all things related to soccer clothing.
