California Surf Soccer Jersey & T-shirt
The California Surf are an NASL team from Anaheim, California. They played from 1978 to 81. Their home field was Anaheim Stadium. They would now be called the Los Angeles Surf of California. (too much?) One of their most famous players was future Arsenal Manager future George Graham. I know when I think surf I think Anaheim. (too much again?). I do like the design. Seems like a good looking shirt. Wish they would have stuck around longer. Maybe they can rebrand Chivas USA to the Surf?
I have to say this is one of my favorite NASL jerseys. The California Surf, in my opinion, have been overshadowed by the LA Aztecs but they definitely have their place in history. Buy the 1980 California Surf Jersey by Copa for only $60 from Amazon.
If t-shirts are more your thing, Amazon.com is selling this one for $25: Retro NASL California Surf Soccer T-shirt
George Best LA Aztecs Replica Jersey
In 1969 I gave up women and alcohol – it was the worst 20 minutes of my life. - George Best.
This classic jersey was worn by George Best when he played for the Los Angeles Aztecs in the 1970′s. He scored 15 goals in 24 games in his first season and was named as the NASL’s best midfielder in his second. His lifestyle should be a testament to young players everywhere.

Carolina Railhawks T-Shirt
Not quite vintage but it is an NASL tean. This is the Carolina Railhawks. Support lower division soccer in the United States with one of these T-Shirts. I think in the future you’ll see a lot more lower division teams selling their brand nationally. This shirt is only $15! Get it at soccer.com.
Tampa Bay Rowdies Retro Jersey – 1978
Do these jerseys actually exist? They are not available in the United States due to trademark law.
A company called Copa Football (based in Amsterdam) has them in their 2011 collection and is selling them for 49.95EUR.
Hopefully someday all parties involved in the lawsuit can settle so we can get a piece of our soccer heritage back. Until then, you’ll have to travel overseas or visit a http://copafootballstore.com/ to get one.
St. Louis Stars Track Jacket

Not too sure what to say about this one other than it’s blue. If you’re a fan of the St. Louis Stars then I would think this is a must have. Not many identifying marks on it. $90 from Amazon. 1970′s St. Louis Stars Track Jacket – Blue
Pothunting – Authentic American Soccerwear
I like to think of Pothunting as keeping American soccer history alive. They feature the authentic designs that the teams actually wore back in the day. Most of the teams are from the East Coast, which makes perfect sense. There are quite a few teams I haven’t heard of which is pretty coool.
Their website isn’t very search friendly which is a pet peeve of mine. They use images instead of text which of course has its downside. Of course this has nothing to do with the t-shirt quality but I thought I’d point it out because it is holding them back from reaching a larger audience. I’ve complied a list of teams they are currently selling.
